Greta Johnson Sher, the owner of Essential Salt Spa, charts her own journey. She spent her youth seeing the country, working odd jobs to fund her travel. She loves meeting new people and hearing about their journey’s to continue to inspire her own.
After a few months in Alaska, she decided to set a clearer path. She studied Architectural Technology at community college and started working before finishing school. She loves to listen and learn from people who have more experience than she does (a lot of them out there!) and within 3 years was VP of Operations of her small firm while learning what it means to be an Architectural Interior Designer.
During her 25 years in the design industry Greta kept creating new paths to follow. She owned a residential construction company, her own design firm, & won recognition for her fabric design. She helped many small business owners achieve their dreams of small business ownership by designing beautiful, functional, and affordable spaces.
After a stint in the corporate world, Greta realized she was too far away from her life’s passion of connecting with and helping people. She found in Halotherapy and Sound Therapy a way to do both.
This next journey into wellness seems to be a departure from the structured world of architecture, however, the end goal to her is the same; listen to the needs of her clients to create a program for their future. In her new client’s future is not a new building, but a path to well-being.
